Rich,
      Thanks for the report! So far there has been one station in PA who
has confirmed the codeword at 250 microwatts (Fran, KA3WTF). He heard
the beacon for one brief burst at RST 529, and then it was gone. At the
time you heard the v's, you were also copying at the 250 uW (0.00025
Watt) level. It's amazing what a little whiff of rf can do, isn't it?
If you have some time to listen Christmas Day, maybe the propagation will
be even better. Good luck!
