QRP Quarterly status

Talked to WB9TBU on the phone tonight, and she said the April issue of
the QRP Quarterly has gone to the printer already. She said it's an
unprecedented 48 pages this time--she had a "huge backlog" left over
from the Jan issue, and still has plenty left over after this one; she
even had to delete my new milliwatting column because she had forgotten
to put one of the other columns in. By the way, she denies that she
ever said the April issue would be her last, and says that she will be
able to do the July one as well...but that WILL be the last, and we
still need a volunteer to take over her position of "final editor who
assembles the whole thing and ships it to the printer". Since we are
going more and more to camera ready inputs from the "field", that job
will be easier and easier. We're still looking for volunteers.
(Note--N8CQA, the Acting Prez of the QRP ARCI, gave his blessing for me
to recruit for a new editor, as well as potential Board of Director
members and a "permanent" president. Anyone interested in any jobs?
Please let me know.) 73 and Queue Our Pea DE WA8MCQ
