QRP is not for everyone

Today K0KDT stopped by to see my manual for my MFJ-969 tuner. He
has bought from e-bay an MFJ-989-C which it appears can handle a full
1500 watts. I showed him how nice the 969 is for QRP power. The Yaseu
FT-817 drove the dual needle SWR display to mid scale on ssb.

It turned out K0KDT was not impressed and wondered what I see in
working DX long after he has? I showed him the DX Cards I have from
contacts with my Ten Tec Argonaut (2.5 watts) and FT-817. He was
impressed with that but wondered how anyone knows I didn't cheat?

Told him I KNOW what I used and that's all that matters. If you
cheat, your only cheating yourself which after all is very stupid. Then
we talked about the 8877 amplifier he is building.
