Well things weren't all that hot in the midwest if you don't consider
the wx.

An hour and a half drive, a 15 minute hike, 20 minutes to set up and
away we went.

I managed 40 Q's with 20 Bee's bagged. I got the wild idea that using
a loop would give we a bit of an advantage
so a 40 mtr loop it was. A 1/4 wave of 75 ohm as a feeder with the
loop up about 12 feet.

K-1 #601 had not trouble tuning but I ended up with the idea that the
losses offset the advantage in capture area.

Ole well, it was a lot of fun and I will save some money in the long
run. ( don't have to use the tanning bed for awhile )
