My personal opinion is that the paddles are harder. But maybe it's because
I've always used a straight key. I'm just now trying to learn to use the
paddles and the hardest problem with me is to remember which one is the "dit"
and which one is the "dah".
The least expensive I've seen is the MFJ Deluxe Iambic Paddle, MFJ-564. Next
one up, I believe would be the Bencher. This paddle bit is new to me too.
Others may have different opinions. Guess it's whatever you start off
learning with.
