Naturally you should check with the Olympic organizing committee. I
don't think there will be a problem if you are willing to walk all the
way back to where you parked your car and put your radio away! Of
course, you may not get as food a seat, and it will be a long walk too.

I don't know if you have ever been to an Olympic event, or even a major
sporting event. They are large, immense, in fact! I worked at the 1974
Olympic Games. I ran a remote darkroom. Cell phones were not too
popular back then, but the media, which I was a part of, were provided
with plenty of telephones! You have to be ready to sacrifice some of
your personal freedoms for the good of the masses, and instant
communications is one of them. They may make an exception for cell
phones, but I sort of doubt it. The tickets should have complete
details. As in every case, you should ask first!
