Linear Loading a dipole

The ARRL Antenna Compendium Vol 5 has a short article
by NN0F on using ladder line to construct a linear
loaded shortened dipole with approx 1 inch spacing
between the wires, to achieve a F/Fo of approx 0.70

I've confirmed this with my own experiments and
curious about how F/Fo might vary (approx) with wire
spacing other than 1 inch. Any helpful advice is
appreciated.

Tnx/73,
