Hi Guys,

First, let me thank all of those who have responded to me regarding my
questions on various verticals. Your information has been very helpful to
me. I have enough good responses that I am thinking very hard about the
Titan. In fact, I am going over to the new QTH tomorrow with a friend to
look at antenna possibilities.

I do have one question for you guys who own the Titans. I'm sorry but I
dumped all the messages after reading so I don't have a specific address to
which to write. My question is concerning the counterpoise at the bottom.
How large a structure is this thing? From what I can gather, it is like a
square whose diagonal would be two of the 80" counterpoise rods for a little
over 13 feet on the diagonal. Is this right? They say in the specs that it
takes no ground space to mount this thing but it seems you would need about
a ten by ten foot square in which to put it. Am I reading things right?

Thanks much for your answers and I really appreciate all of the feedback
I've received so far. 72
Kevin, K7RX
