Teflon wire stripping

I have a good supply of Teflon insulated hook up wire which I like
because of the no melting thing.
The way I found to strip it (this is solid not stranded) is to pinch it
with my long nose pliers, this cuts it long ways and gives me two pig
tails which I cut off with wire cutters. This does not appear to nick the
wire at all. Just pinch it for the length you want stripped.
