I thought someone was wanting 30M reports...maybe not...anyway....
Last night at about 02:00 I couldn't hear the Fox, the Truffle or much
anything else on 40m so I plugged in the 30m module to my 5 watt Scout and
did some listening. I ended up working FR5FD Pat on Reunion Island on
10104.7 and this is now my best DX! I gave him a 339 and he gave me a
539....not bad for an attic dipole (there's another nickle for Mac).
I would like to think I would have had a better copy on him if I removed the
plywood and shingle attenuator but my XYL would have me in the doghouse
should I do anything quite that brazen.
