Doesn't Teflon (PTFE) give off poisonous gas when burned?
(flourine or phosgene or something?)
So why would you want to use hot wire stippers to melt/burn the
wire insulation off? Wouldn't catch me doing it! I use end
strippers set to the right wire size for my PTFE coated wire.
It's a little harder to strip than PVC, but worth the extra effort.
