Hi Doug,

I see the following typical K1 RX peak signal current ranges (Supply V=13.8V):

No Signal Headphones = 56 - 60 mA
Strong Signal Headphones = 58 - 78 mA depending on sig level and headphones.
(Comfortable headphone RX levels on my K1 use around 60 mA peak.) This will also
vary depending upon the impedance of your headphones, their efficiency and the
power supply voltage (less voltage = more current.)

No Signal Speaker = 56 - 60 mA.
Strong Signal Speaker = 80-120 mA. on peaks for -very- loud signals.
The extra mass of the speaker and the job of filling the room with ear
shattering levels requires the extra current.

My 'comfortable' listening current for the speaker is usually around 70-80 mA
peak. Average current draw of course is -much- less than the peak values since
one rarely enjoys listening to loud continuous tones.

Guys, I need your help. Those of you who have built the K1, would you
please do a test for me. I need you to measure the current draw in the
following situations.
