Hi,
It sure is nice to have things work during/after the
smoke test...that's what happened! Put the PSK31
Warbler kit together yesterday afternoon and it works
great! It really is a nice kit for those of you who
want to get on PSK and want to build a kit as well.
Don't be intimidated by the 2 surface mount
components. I simply taped them onto the PCB and
gently soldered one pin to tack it in place and the
others were a breeze. Just be gentle with the solder
amount and use a fine tip. From start to finish a
little under 5 hours with a few coffee breaks.
