Exactly. 5wpm was intended as the level needed to begin to learn code,
hence the class of "novice", which has been eliminated. Had it not been
for the novice bands and other hams working at it with me there I would
have never made it any further. Any one who thinks there will be any
significant number of new CW hams with the new system is dreaming, sorry to
