>>Is there an RIT mod for the SW-40?
Yes, there is. The original SW-40 series had a RIT mod kit, now out of
production. Fortunately, the mod kit for the present SW-40+ will work with
the older series as well.
The present mod kit is a well-kept secret- by necessity! I posted a
notice about this new product back in December and have had difficulty
keeping the neccessary parts in stock ever since. The switch and RIT pot I
supply in this kit seem to be made of 'unobtanium', and with very limited
substitute sources. It'll be another several weeks before I have
sufficient quantities of these parts to feel comfortable publicizing their
availability. I'll post a message when it's looking solid again.
For those who've been waiting patiently for their existing RIT kit orders
to be filled, I did receive a partial shipment of the back-ordered items.
The bulk of the backlog went out on Saturday, the remainder will ship today.
