Hi Patrick, there is software out there on the web
that will convert any text into a CW WAV file or
..au file. I believe I have two of them, maybe
more free for the downloading off the net. One
was 'C' code I compiled in the usual manner only
having to identify library locations etc. Text in
equals cw.wav file out.

Still there are others that do the same thing that
might be ready to run under BASIC. Look for
text to cw converters or software that has that
feature built in. I believe one I have generates
random qso's to the file then plays that file.

I believe I did a net search on Morse Code Software
and found tons. Good luck, the software is out there.
