I don't know I anyone has already commented about metalic coated glass.
The mirrored glass and some infrared blocking coatings are stong absorbers
of RF. Try taking a handheld radio up to the surface of a metalic coated
window. Within about a foot you will notice a drop off in received signal
and will have no signal at all right next to the glass. Discovered this by
accident--set my handheld on a window sill and it went dead or so I
thought. Simply moving it away from the glass began to rapidly restore the
signal strength.
