Hi gang,
FINALLY I have the results for the LI/NJ-QRP Doghouse Operation Sprint from
November 97. George N2APB has done a fine job posting the results on the
NJ-QRP web page. You can see the results with soapbox comments from many who
participated and helped make it a great sprint (http://www.njqrp.org).
Additional comments will be posted shortly.
We had 47 logs received and a lot more activity on the bands as quite a few
logs have indicated; N2CQ, KB2JE and N4BP to mention a few.
I want to apologize to everyone who participated in this contest. Radio has
not been my main priority this year, but that's changed for the better. This
was my first attempt at contest manager and I learned quite a bit. I hope that
you have not lost faith and participate in future sponsored contests. Thanks
to everyone who made it fun and to the members of the LIQRP and NJ-QRP clubs
for their efforts.
Congratulations to Bob N4BP, Ken N2CQ, Walt KB2JE, and Joel WA1QVM our winners.
