RE HW8 low output

My thanks to all those who kindly replied to my request for help in
finding out why my HW8, newly acquired is only giving out 0.5 to 1
watt. I will maybe delve a bit or, as has been mentioned, use the old
girl on QRPp! Did work an LA on 80m last night (559 with my 1 watt)
so not bad!
