Los Angeles must see places??

Used to live there for 5 years (City of Downey, right near the middle).
There are numerous "regular" (well-know, tourist, etc.) things to do,
of course.

One place I found particularly interesting was The Queen Mary,
permanently moored in Long Beach. It is a fascinating place to
visit--but especially her on-board shack. Tip: if you go while they are
open, they will let you operate (or at least this used to be the case).

Just my $.02 worth :-). Good luck and have a great time. P.S.: Wish I
could out there again, too--especially when these MN winters come <VBG>.
