The charts and the discussion on the diodes is great stuff.
So since Joe brought up a request for another measurement, let me
add one. The capacitance range is important to determine just
how far you can move the VFO or RIT frequencies. How about some
real life drift factors, i.e. use a diode as a variable cap but
note if there are any physical effects caused by heating and just
how much? My first suspects would be the 1N4148 and 1N5232
just due to the fact that they have a large range in C.
Inquiring minds just gotta know.
