Hi All,

Worked the MI-QRP test between chores and thunderstorms. First contest
I've attempted in about 10 years. My contest procedures needed some
serious polishing.

- Started on 20 mtrs and first contact was W0RSP, messed that one up,
sorry Ade.

- Atmospheric noise got too high by mid pm so switched to 15 mtrs. First
contact there was HP1AC.

- Tried some contacts on 40 in the evening but couldn't seem to work around
the TTY stations. Quit for the night.

- Made some contacts on 40 starting about 1030 UTC. Switched to 20 again
when 40 faded out.

- Switched to 20 again and made a few more contacts . The atmospheric
noise was getting bad by 1800 UTC with the T Storms building in the area
again.

Had some fun working 'test stations and some QSOs with others along the
way. Concluded that some better/narrower filters (DSP?) would be useful.
Especially for those stations with key clicks 6 kHz wide that are S9
outside the bandpass of my 500 Hz filter.

Hope to catch y'all on the bands.
