hi,
had a great response to my question of why the shield on shielded wire is
sometimes grounded at both ends, and sometimes only at one end. most of
the answers were the same as well, an indication on the quality of the
folks on this list. there were so many replies that i wasn't able to answer
each one, but i did read every one (was i the only person who didn't know
that ground loops could be a problem if the shield is connected at each end?).
great list, and looking forward to another year of learning via the internet.
