Is the band noisy or is it local?

Hi,

    I am wondering if the bands have been pretty noisy lately, or if someone
local has a bad sodium lamp nearby. I've noticed that while propagation has
been average, the QRN seems to be on the high side, or what seems to me to
be QRN. Can anyone confirm or set me right on this? Thanks.
