Yes, the QRP Quarterly is different. QRPp is published by the NorCal QRP
Club, and the Low Down is published by the Colorado QRP Club, while the
QRP Quarterly is put out by the QRP Amateur Radio Club International, or
QRP ARCI. Membership numbers are for life, and QRP Quarterly renewals
(after your first year) are $15. To join and get your first year of the
QRP Quarterly, send $15 (for US addresses) made out to QRP ARCI to the
secretary/treasurer, Ken Evans, W4DU, 848 Valbrook Court, Lilburn GA
30047. Canadia is $18 and DX is $20, the latter going via air mail.

People outside North America can also go through G0BPS, Dick Pascoe,
payable in UK pounds--13.50 by check, or 14 by Visa or Mastercard.
(Note--he accepts credit cards, but we do not.) If going through him,
checks must be payable to "GQRP".

The QRP Quarterly is currently edited by KU7Y, with a lot of other people
assisting him by doing "distributed editing", and since he took over a
couple years ago the "standard" size has increased to 48 pages (although
he occasionally goes over that when he thinks he can get away with it).
BTW, we went through some "downsizing" in the last year, in that we pushed
out the text closer to the edge of the pages, reduced the space between
columns and went to a smaller size of type, so we could stuff more info
than ever before into it. (And don't worry if the number of pages is
smaller than the numbers you see in QRPp, since we use larger paper; you
still get plenty of QRP material for your money!)
