Perhaps 28.880 was used in the 50s and 60s, but it won't work now. That's
because 28.885 + - is the six meter cross-band and coordination frequency.
There has been some talk of moving this frequency inth the novice/tec
band, but it hasn't happened yet.

Better stick with frequencies near 29.0 such as the previously mentioned
29.065. For monotoring purposes to determine the AM activity, 29.000 or
29.005 are good because the big guns of AM hang out there.
