Basil,

I haven't had any experience with the Small Wonder Labs rig but I do have
a Ten-Tec 1330 and like it very much. The biggest complaint I have heard
about the Ten-Tec is the 1 kHz. bandwidth which can easily be handled
with a simple audio bandpass filter. I haven't done that yet, but I
haven't missed it either.

For me there is something to be said for a complete kit that doesn't
require any scrounging or metal work. Unless, of course, you are in to
that sort of thing.

I am considering getting a 40 meter version as well.
