coil into several small inductors spaced along the length they
would physically be on the antenna. Don't know whether it is
a valid approach, but it seemed logical, and the EZNEC results
look very plausible.
That's the method I used on the various bicycle mobile antenna
designs that I showed at Dayton last year.
