Some time ago, Bob Pease included a photograph in his column in
which, if you looked closely enough, there was an oscilloscope with
eight traces on the CRT. It was a 545 (?) with a pair of four-channel
vertical amplifiers. Those plug-ins are full of nuvistors. Now, where
else are you going to get an 8-channel 'scope?
