Recently I asked for help in solving a problem with a "chirp" in _all_
received signals on my Rev. B Sierra. I got a number of informative
responses, but checking them all didn't work.
We've all had those late night/early morning flashes of inspiration.
Well, about 0400 local I woke up and thought "this didn't happen before
I installed the KC2". Yup....right there in the KC2 manual, page 16, it
describes the possible problem and a cure.
Reduced the value of CV to 6 picofarads and the problem went away.
This is still a truism: "When all else fails, read the manual". Think
I'll have that tattooed on the back of my soldering hand, :-)
