Wilderness Sierra Current Usage

Hi folks,

I put together my Wilderness Sierra and it is putting out about 2.25
watts on 80 meters. One thing that is kind of bother me is that on
transmit, its sucking about 425 ma with a 12.9 volt gell cell. The spec
calls for 325 on transmit. On recieve, it is 35 ma which matches the
spec. Should I be concerned about this? What could be causing this?
