I'm facing somewhat of a dilemma as I'm putting my QRP station back
together. I live in a very restrictive area for antennas.
One option that I'm looking at is an AEA Isoloop. I've found one locally at
a pretty good price, but I'm concerned that the antenna may not be
effective enough for QRP'ing.
Could anyone make an estimate of how effective an antenna an Isoloop would
be for QRP if mounted in the clear, at about 30 feet? Is an Isoloop
comparable to a dipole? Worse? A lot worse?
thanks in advance,
Jon, KC3OU
