Well, as ya'll know I've been passing around some files off of the
Tektronics website. A question of "legality" came up and I checked the
website again and found a file stating that the copyright notice should
be included with any "forwarded" files. Oops! I hadn't done this, but
downloaded it ASAP and send a letter off to the hostmaster regarding my
erring ways and that I would live the straight-n-narrow from here on
out.
Well, I got a reply. They've got a bunch of lawyers coming to see me
for copyright enfringement and I need someone to start me a "Ed's Legal
Defense (and bar tab) Fund".<g>
Seriously I received a nice short message from Brian Knowles at
Tektronics regarding the files. He thanked me for my note "confessing
my sins". He also gave me the fax-on-demand number and all the titles,
document numbers, etc.,. Anybody want these??? :)
