Nothing to report on Sierra construction -been busy (see below).
Been playing with the 38s a bit and discovered that at ~5w output
there is no instability with dummy load, but with my real antenna
"chirps." Furthermore, activating my LDG QRP AutoTuner "fixes it."
I am kinda surprised since the half-sloper has SWR of 1.4:1.
It is a W9INN half-sloper with "resonactors" to allow operation on
30, 80, and 160 and total length only 55'. It is fed against my
35' tower with yagis at top.
Anyone have any ideas?
