Just flew in from Colorado to San Jose and the airlines lost my bags
with my SW40 in it along with a weeks worth of clean clothes...I can
replace the clothes!#?@$ but my QRP rig Arughh! I know I should of hand
carried it but I was running late and security would of had a 'field
day' w/me so I check it.(mistake#1) oh well... I carried my shaving kit
along w/laptop and happen to have my rainbow ATU kit in w/shaving
kit...doesn't everyone carry a pencil solder iron and needle nose pliers
with their Right Guard? On to hwy 101...funny how the rental car steers
itself into all the right candy stores...I did manage to get lost for
several hours in HSC...WOW what a swell place for the homebrewer! Dipped
into Fry's for a short visit...then off to my hotel to see how long of a
wait for my luggage if it shows(?) ....only a few more connections and
its time to test this lil' rainbow and see if there's gold at the other
end of it....(knock at the door) Its MY SW40! YEAH!...my lost bag shows
up just in time!...Only problem...It's still daylite out...(who's idea
was this DST thing?) throwing an object out the window attached to a
piece wire may look a little strange... better wait till dark!...I can't
decide which to use the shampoo w/conditioner or the hand/body lotion
bottle for a weight to get the #28 wire over the tree top outside the
window (window screen actually is removeable)...I seem to remember
someone saying they tried the shampoo and it didn't work too great!
