Larry:

I began calling Bruce shortly after aquiring a supposedly updated QRP+
from a fellow ham.

Despite having left at least daily messages since, and *two* messages
one day, I have yet to actually talk directly with Bruce. Plus he has
apparently simply taken his FAX off-line. He did call one day while I
was unavailable (AARGHH), and never did call back as promised. And then
my series of one-way calls has remained unanswered.

Thank goodness for your articles on mods! They are welcome relief and
endless encouragement.

BTW, someone needs to point out to both Bruce and SGC that if they blow
this transition, they will create ill will and distrust for their *new*
product. It is not a matter of quality--it has to do with customer
service and good will. I would do this, just don't know how to do it.

But it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that we in the internet
QRP community have endless control over whether their stuff will even
sell...

I have two of the rigs (one old, one very late). So I am invested, and
in fact like the basic ergonomics of the rigs. I personally expect Bruce
to go online to say what is going on. If he doesn't do it, I will be
very reluctant to buy something else...or recommend else buy it.

72/73,
