Guess it's just one of those "guy" things. I'm just trying to find out if
mine is "average". (Apologies to the YL's in the group). I have an OHR
II on 40, from 7.100-7.150, I've been running it QRPp and notice about a
25% difference in power across the dial. At 7.100 I'm getting about 750mW
while at 7.165 I'm getting just a shade over a watt on the WM-1. Not a
big deal but gets a little tough to remember what to send as "PWR HR
IS...", I don't want to mislead someone, hi. Usually I just tell them "1
WATT" (w/ a rpt of "ONE WATT") and it amazes most people.
It there some way to make it more linear? If not, I can live with it, but
really don't want to wastefully use whole watts if I don't have to. :)
