Memory fails me again, but someone in this gang was
waxing poetic about all the goodies to be found in defunct
VCRs. Well, it so happens that this past weekend, I came
into a small supply of "partial" VCR boards containing the
tuning modules.

Would the gang member who knows about salvaging VCRs please
send me private email?

(and for those of you who want the whole story, the VCRs were
left over from a "take-apart" area at the school science fest
this past weekend, where I demonstrated ham radio, QRP, CW and
a spectrum analyzer to admiring first through third graders)
