JA to W6 with 3 watts on 40m

Contacted with W6KP last night on 40m across the Pacific Ocean
using 3W output Xcvr homebrewed from scratch and
long wire antenna up 4 meters high with <<St. Louis Tuner>>.
My QTH is Chiba, 30 kilometers to the east of Tokyo.
He gave me 449.

QRP and HB are really great fun.
