Gang, I have been in Kansas since early Friday morning, and the news is not
good. I thought that my father was going to have bypass surgery on Friday,
but instead they found that he had 90% blockage of the left carotid artery
and 50% blockage of the right side. So, they had to go in and clean that
out before they could do the heart surgery. Dad made it through the Friday
surgery and is scheduled for the bypass tomorrow morning at 7:30. He will
have 4 bypasses and this is the third bypass surgery for him. He is 75
years old and not in good health at all.
I did want to let you know what was going on and that I will be unable to
send missing parts for 38 Specials for at least a week. I apologize for
that and hope that you understand. Jim does not have the parts, and we
live 150 miles apart, so please do not ask him. Be patient and I will get
to it as soon as I can.
