Scott, there is only one type 44 @ 0.20" listed in Allied's
catalog... their Type nr: 24-6337-0010 which the book
says is a 63/37 alloy... and there is another @ 0.25"
which is ordinary 60/40 with Type nr: 24-6040-0018...
both types are listed as 25 guage... as I recall, the '58'
is supposed to refer to the number of flux cores within
the solder. Pretty good squeezing on their part.

ALL OTHER flux types carry a different designation from
'44'... and so in terms of the flux, it should be fine. I know
that different alloys have different characteristics, but I
doubt it would matter much for ordinary use. I've used
both 60/40 and 63/37 at various times & applications.
