Folks,
OK now, I just shipped up to and including Rainbow Tuner # 300
this morning. Very soon, you all should get yours if your
order was in the first build. In fact, shipping has been rather
fast. Even Jon Iza in Spain, got his within a week of it being
shipped in late March!
There have been a number of queries from folks lately who have not
gotten their order numbers. If you have not gotten one, it's
probably a safe bet that your number will be over 300 and be
included in the second build. With the volume of orders received,
it has been hard for our volunteer force to keep up. Those who
sent mailing labels and legible e-mail addresses got first
priority in notification. Unfortunately not all of the e-mail
addresses recevied were legible, causing extra work that delayed
our sending out order numbers. And we had to set the absolute
first prioity on getting out kits to those in the first build.
Now that we have a short rest period, we will concentrate on orders
for current (as of late Feb) NJQRP members whose kits were not
shipped until the other customers were satisfied.
Of course we can't rest *too* much, the parts for the second build
are beginning to arrive. I just got a LARGE package of parts from
Danny's Small Parts today!
Once we have evaluated the number of outstanding orders, we may be
forced to not accept any more for a while. Build 2 is slated for
200 units and we have to keep some for Dayton!
Thanks to all for their faith in NJQRP, their patience in waiting
for their Rainbows and to Doug Hendricks for getting us in this
maelstrom in the first place. :-)
