14AVQ?

Hello all,

A friend has offered me his 20 year old vertical which he "thinks" is a 14AVQ
or a 14AVT which is good for 10 through 40 as he remembers it. He doesn't
know the model and doesn't know where the manual is. Does anyone know if
these are valid model numbers and does anyone have a manual they are willing
to copy and send? Also, what's your experience? Can it be used on 10 MHz?
My friend says the antenna uses traps so changing freq may be tough. What
about an antenna tuner? Two radials enough?

I live in the city and have always used dipole fed with 450 ohm twin lead and
a tuner - and beams on 10 and 15 in the belief that they are less noisy.
Never tried a vertical but looking forward to this one!

Thanks in advance for your advice and comments!
