Well,
It had to happen. Another 38SPL on the air, this aft. First QSO,
yep, GI0KOW. My 38spl kicks out 5 watts on a gel-gel, antenna is a Butternut
HF6V in the yard. Not bad for Wis, the RF hole !
FYI, I let the smoke out of my first 2 IRF510s, but this one came from
Dan's Small Parts, and I installed the ferrite bead I should have put in
to begin with !!
