Greetings, Eric. 1st, are you related to Mr Theodore Bikal of music fame?
Great lineage if so. 2nd, I'd be very interested in skeds. I'm building
a set of "Selectable Steerable Sterba Curtains" just for "DX Targets".
They'll be on 15, 17, & 20 m and will be steerable to some degree. The 15
and 17m are already built, 20m by this weekend. They'll be selected and
raised rather like flags on a flag-pole, with the far end able to swing
between two trees equipped with a pulley traveller.

I also have "Nested Half-Squares" for 15, 17, 30 & 40m. In fact, the half-
square may be a good option for you -from a roof-top. They are no
longer than a dipole and work many times better for DX. Interested
in trying a couple of ideas? 72 =s=
