QSL.NET has authorized the creation of three new
mailing lists which will be my initial responsibility:
1) Ham-Books (literature and periodicals of amateur radio)
a) publishers
b) magazines
c) newsletters
d) books
e) old and "collector" books
f) new book announcements
2) Ham-Software (software of all types used for amateur radio)
a) logging
b) propagation prediction
c) digital modes
d) award tracking
e) commercial/shareware
f) electronic design and simulation
3) Mobile/Portable
a) QRP and QRO, HF and VHF+
b) rigs, antennas, tuners
c) installation
e) batteries
f) generators
g) camping/RVs/backpacking
h) laptop/palmtop computers
i) portable packet
j) roving and mountain-topping
k) GPS
These mailing lists are NOT yet ready for use, but at this
time the scope and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are in
preparation.
I WOULD LIKE INPUT ABOUT ABOVE OR OTHER ITEMS THAT SHOULD OR
SHOULD NOT BE SCOPED IN THE CHARTER FOR THE NEW MAILING LISTS
