Ron (KU7Y),
Nice job on the current "The QRP Quarterly", from QRP-ARCI. My copy had
come in yesterday's mail. Great photo of HP1AC, on page 15 too. I think
most of us have worked Cam, (he must read this list), many times during
the QRP contests.
Amazing, how fast we return to some old techniques, such as "potted
antenna center isulators". (page 28) Tnx to AC5K, Wes. Thank goodness we
don't have to grind xtals anymore with soap detergent & plain glass.
One request from me, if those of You, who plan on attending FDIM @
Dayton, would you please post Your' thoughts & impressions, to the QRP-L,
it would be appreciated.
KD7S ("38 Special") page 14, how does Bill bulid those professional
looking radios ?
Who is N0EB ("QRP Club House Column Editor, page 8) ? What's the
matter, Bob can't keep a job, or was he run out of town again ? ;-)
Well, the Solar cycle is improving (listen to the HF bands , especially
6/10/15/17/20 meters, these next 3 days) & QRPTTF is 21 days away, what
more could we ask for ?
Oh, yes, that note that I had sent to the QRP-L, "GPS/Hide Outs". That
Lat./Long. is for "Barringer's Crater", aka "Meteor Crater", off of
Interstate 40, in NE Arizona. A true extraterrestial visitor. I think
some of the Az. scQRPions maybe planning on operating QRPTTF, from near
there.

Try the above URL, you will see photos of other impact sites, especially
in Canada & down under (Aussies). Hint-hint for QRPTTF... :-)
OK, who is planning on operating from Amityville, during QRPTTF ? =8-0
How about near Ann Rice's House, in New Orleans ?
Good Luck, Ron (KU7Y) & Crew (KI6DS, NA5N & AB7ST) outside of Rachel,
Nev., near Area 51, during QRPTTF. It's a good thing that You are leaving
Your' Spouses, in Las Vegas, Nev., with the checkbooks & bank accounts.
It's not to late to change plans and head to "The Devil's Tower" in
Wyoming. I keep hearing these 5 tones in my head. ;-)
Live from wind blown (70+ mph right now) New Mexico...

PS Ron, can I obtain my Area 51 QSL card now, just in case ? ;-)
