hi all. well i finally got to wind the balun for my mini tunre/swr bridge
and had
a little (very) time to play with the slv. put it up in my very small backyard
and ran the 300 ohm line into my screened porch to the tuner/rig.

well as reported the tuning is very sharp regarding the coil tap selection. this
isd due to the fact that with balanced line my tuner is very broad, which i
guess
is good as when the right selections are made i don't have to touch the tuner
(for the same band) to cover a great portion of the selected band. didn't make
any contacts as 40 was not too good and 20 only had a few signals at the time.

this weekend i hope to get to the beach (just across the street from my
qth)and setup so well see how many contract i can make...
Thank You
