I have the Ten-Tec Argo 515, and I like it very much, but I don't have
the Model208-A Notch/CW filter. I have a Radio shack DSP unit, which
works fairly well on the audio output, or an Autek QF-1A which also helps
but is a lot more fussy to adjust.
Has anyone adapted another kind of filter into the IF/Audio accessory
plug connector on the back of the Ten-Tec. The factory filter is in a low
level audio circuit, just before the input to an LM380 amplifier circuit.
The SCAF that OHR sells, looks promising, as does the little filter that
EMTECK sells.
I'm looking for a little narrower filter for the CW mode.
