Hi all,
My zapped and dead 38S has been brought back to life. It is now perking
along with 300mw out, good receive, TiCK keyer, modified output filter and
Bob's mods to clean up the sig. Decided to keep it as 300mw since I have a
full QRP 5W+ Oak Hills Spirit II on the desk too. Thanks to all who offered
suggestions and advice. My xyl just can't figure out what is so
compelling...frustrating.....facinating about a dead qrp rig :-) but now is
happy that I can come out of the shack since I fixed the radio. I had so
much fun debugging it that I ordered another 38S kit. May put it on 40
meters. 72
